Being a Watersaver today

Without doubt water is a precious resource. Gold Coast Water has had a comprehensive ongoing public education program for more than 15 years.  Now known as the Watersaver Education Program it applies a social-marketing approach, so that community members are ‘Watersavers’ during school, while they are at home, while they are at work or while they are on holidays.

Education and awareness is essential to achieve the change in attitudes and behaviours needed to reach sustainability. This Program has been designed to make the process of learning about water conservation and Gold Coast Water’s initiatives to reduce water consumption – as easy, interesting and straight-forward as possible.
